Two bakers.
One dream.
A couple who didn't just open a bakery — they brought a piece of their hearts from Paris to the Kootenays. L&C French Bakery started at the Nelson Farmer's Market, with every baked good crafted from the former AM Radio Café kitchen they used to rent. They are now proud to own the very café they once rented.
Chef Cyrielle Lagadec — Born, raised, and trained in Paris, Cyrielle is an extraordinary chef with 15 years of experience. She masters a variety of culinary arts including pastry, chocolate, baking, and sugar art. She had the opportunity to hone her skills in some of the finest establishments both in Paris and throughout the world — including two Michelin-starred restaurants.
Lisa Lopez — Lisa's work experience and education have been focused on her calling to open a bakery. She holds a bachelor's degree in international hotel management and has worked in management positions at several hotels, including the Fairmont Château Whistler and The Wickaninnish Inn.
"To all the boss ladies out there — you are the heart and soul of everything you touch."
